Antenatal Shared Care
 

Your pregnancy can be managed at Cammeray Medical Practice by all of our GPs. This service is available if you are attending a public maternity hospital clinic or private obstetrician. It allows you to see your own GP for many of your routine antenatal visits.

There is a collection centre for Douglas Hanley Moir pathology across the hallway from the practice.

Childhood Immunisations and Developmental Checks
 

All GPs and practice nurses at Cammeray Medical Practice are able to administer the full range of childhood vaccinations and perform all early childhood developmental checks. Please inform our staff if your visit is for childhood immunisations to ensure adequate time is allocated for your visit and appropriate vaccines are available.

ECG Heart Test
 

An electrocardiogram (ECG) is a test that records the electrical activity of your heart. An ECG may be included as part of a routine examination in patients over 40 years old, as well as in the assessment of chest pain.

Care for the Elderly
 

Doctors and nurses at Cammeray Medical Practice are understanding of the needs of the elderly and have the necessary experience to ensure they are optimally managed. Home visits and visits to Aged Care Facilities can be undertaken by prior arrangement.

GP Management Plans
 

For many chronic conditions, your GP is now able to create an individualised management plan through Medicare, in order to achieve optimal health outcomes. This process encourages a team approach and involves allied health practitioners including nurses, physiotherapists, as well as medical specialists.
