Dr Kristine Powell

Dr Kristine Powell graduated from University of Tasmania in 1990. She completed residency terms at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital; Royal North Shore Hospital; and Royal Alexandra Hospital for Children in Camperdown, prior to commencing work in the community setting.
She has worked with Family Planning NSW and Act; and the ACT Menopause Clinic. She was the principal of a busy general practice in the inner north of Canberra for 16 years, gaining experience in all areas of general practice, particularly the management of chronic health conditions.
Kristine has an interest in mental health and psychological medicine and has a diploma of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. She is recognised by medicare as a provider of psychological therapies.
She also has a particular interest in the management of menopause and is a member of the Australasian menopause society.
